Fees And Charges

The Kimberley TAFE abides by the Government Fee Structure:

Tuition Fees or Charges
  • $1.36 per hour or 71c per hour with a recognised concession.
  • Enrolment charge/College service fee - $22.76 per Semester or $45.52 per annum.
  • Resource Fees. This fee varies with the course that is offered and the funds taken are used to provide equipment and materials used for that course.
  • What you pay depends on the type of course in which you enrol.
Vocational Award Courses

Consist of the enrolment charge, tuition fee (max $496.40 per semester, $259.15 with concession) and the resource fee.

Access and Equity Courses.

Consist of the enrolment charge and any resource fee.

Adult Community Education Courses

The course fee is set by the college and covers direct and indirect costs associated with ACE delivery.

Your enrolment is not complete until all the fees and charges are paid or arrangements as detailed below are finalised.

Payment Options

The College offers various payment plans that may suit you, they are:

  1. Pay the amount in full when you complete the enrolment form.
  2. Have your employer pay for you by presenting a signed authority or purchase order.
  3. Apply to pay your fees in instalments. In cases of financial hardship you can have a minimum of 8 weeks from the date of enrolment to finalise your payment. You can pay a deposit of up to $100 at the time of enrolment and complete and sign the appropriate paperwork. Ask your Administration officer for further information.
  4. Apply for deferment of payment. This is available if you apply for Abstudy or Austudy. Ask your Administration Officer for further information.
  5. Apply to have your fees waived on the grounds of severe financial hardship. The Managing Director of the College has the authority to waive fees and charges. Ask your Administration Officer for further information. The information supplied in these applications is kept strictly confidential.

Your enrolment is not complete until all the fees and charges are paid.
