Kimberley TAFE’s music lecturer, Bel Skinner has taken out the prestigious WA Trainer of the Year Award at the WA Training Awards.

Bel’s commitment and dedication to her students has culminated in many positive achievements along the way.

A highlight of Bel’s work has been the formation of the band ‘The Walkabout Boys’ who are recording their debut album under the Indigenous music label - ‘Skinny Fish!’

Bel will soon be up against Australia’s top trainers at the Australian Trainer Awards in Canberra in November.
