Indigenous Engagement Project with Western Institute NSW
The Objective of the Indigenous Engagement Project is to contribute to improving employment futures for Indigenous people by advancing skills through e-learning. The project will also seek to strengthen the capacity of Indigenous organisations, CDEP organisations and communities by using e-learning to recognise and identify skills and qualifications needed to gain successful employment outcomes.
In 2006 the Certificate IV in Business (Governance) was delivered into very remote communities using a combination of satellite, video conference and online technologies. The aim for 2007 is to extend this delivery model and gain sustainability through flexible training methods. Attached is the full REPORT of the project.
